Resource Development & Curriculum Consultation

Two women and a man sitting at the table full of papers discussing something in a classroom environment. The man is pointing with a pen to a note as the women look on.

How We Do It

Matan recognizes the importance of maximizing the resources and efforts that already exist in the Jewish community. As a trusted partner with a proven track record, Matan is privileged to collaborate with many other Jewish organizations that are doing transformative work in the Jewish community. Whether creating a brand new resource, like the inclusion training curriculum developed for Foundation for Jewish Camp, or adapting an already existing program, such as the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning courses, Matan considers the philosophy and culture of each organization to ensure that Matan’s disability inclusion work matches the mission and tone of the hiring institution.

In their own words

“We are proud to have collaborated with Matan to provide training for educators to establish a foundation for understanding inclusion in adult Jewish learning. Matan is also bringing their expertise to support us in making our learning modules accessible for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Matan is a wonderful partner that brings great expertise, creativity, and energy to this important endeavor to make Jewish learning accessible to all adults.”
